The Panel

Seven dancer/makers and one philosopher delve into personal dance histories, drawing out sensations, questions and memories. Scraps of text and fragments of movement dance around one another, mingling and interweaving into a rich tapestry of meanings. Performed with generosity, knowledge and passion by these extraordinary individuals:

Alex Crowe, Carolyn Roy, Kate Brown, Kathy Crick, Katja Cicigoj, Lalitaraja Chandler, Rachel Gomme, Vanio Papadelli
As we moved deeper into the process, I discovered personalities beyond the persons. It's about relationships with the dancers, the process and my curiosity about the dance and people in it. How do these dance practitioners navigate through their art, labour, desire, health and livelihood? How do we cope with the complexity and the demand of the personal and universal issues as a dance practitioner?
